Privacy policy

Wagelist collects very little: your email and the pay bands you save, basic signup attribution, and anonymous usage analytics. If you buy a plan, Stripe handles the payment and we never see your card. This page lists all of it, why we keep it, and how to have it deleted.
What we collect
If you create an account, we store your email address, your hashed password and the time you confirmed the address, plus every pay band you choose to save. If you buy a plan, Stripe processes the payment and we keep only the identifiers Stripe gives us for your customer record and subscription, never your card number. Alongside it we record first-touch attribution: which page and button you signed up from, any UTM parameters (source, medium, campaign), the referring page, and your IP address at the time of signup. We also use Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors use the site (pages viewed, clicks, scrolling); Clarity data is not tied to your account email by us. The demo calculator runs entirely in your browser and sends us nothing you type into it.
Why we collect it
Your email identifies your account and carries the email the service has to send: the message that verifies you own the address, and billing notices if you buy a plan. Saved bands exist so a range you have already quoted does not move under you. The signup context tells us which pages convince people to sign up so we can improve them. Analytics helps us find broken or confusing parts of the site. We do not use this data for advertising, we do not build profiles, and we do not send a newsletter.
What we never do
We do not sell your data. We do not share your email with advertisers or data brokers. We do not buy email lists. We send no marketing beyond the account emails described above.
Retention and deletion
We keep signups while your account exists or until you ask us to remove you, whichever comes first. To be deleted, email [email protected] from the address you signed up with and we will delete your row, including the attribution fields, within 30 days and confirm by reply. Analytics data is retained on Microsoft Clarity's standard schedule and is not personally identified by us.
Cookies
Wagelist sets a session cookie required for the site to function (security tokens for the signup form) and Microsoft Clarity sets analytics cookies to distinguish visits. We set no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
