Privacy policy
Effective date: July 6, 2026
Wagelist is a pre-launch, early-access product. We collect very little: your email if you join the early-access list, basic signup attribution, and anonymous usage analytics. This page lists all of it, why we keep it, and how to have it deleted.
What we collect
If you request early access, we store your email address, a confirmation code and the time you confirmed. Alongside it we record first-touch attribution: which page and button you signed up from, any UTM parameters (source, medium, campaign), the referring page, and your IP address at the time of signup. We also use Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors use the site (pages viewed, clicks, scrolling); Clarity data is not tied to your early-access email by us. The demo calculator runs entirely in your browser and sends us nothing you type into it.
Why we collect it
Your email exists for exactly one purpose: to tell you when your early-access spot opens, plus the confirmation email that verifies you own the address. The signup context tells us which pages convince people to sign up so we can improve them. Analytics helps us find broken or confusing parts of the site. We do not use this data for advertising, we do not build profiles, and we do not send a newsletter.
What we never do
We do not sell your data. We do not share your email with advertisers or data brokers. We do not buy email lists. We send no marketing beyond the early-access emails described above.
Retention and deletion
We keep early-access signups until launch onboarding completes or until you ask us to remove you, whichever comes first. To be deleted, email [email protected] from the address you signed up with and we will delete your row, including the attribution fields, within 30 days and confirm by reply. Analytics data is retained on Microsoft Clarity's standard schedule and is not personally identified by us.
Cookies
Wagelist sets a session cookie required for the site to function (security tokens for the signup form) and Microsoft Clarity sets analytics cookies to distinguish visits. We set no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
Changes and contact
If this policy changes in a way that affects your data, we will update this page and note the new effective date above. Questions about anything here: [email protected]. See also our terms of service.
