Terms of service

Effective date: July 6, 2026

These terms govern your use of wagelist.com, the demo pay band calculator, and the early-access signup list. They are short because the product is pre-launch: there is no paid service yet, so there are no billing terms yet.

Early-access status

Wagelist is in early access and not yet generally available. Joining the early-access list reserves nothing except an email from us when your spot opens, and creates no paid relationship. All pricing shown on this site is planned launch pricing and may change before launch; any early-access discount will be stated in the email that opens your spot. We may change, delay or cancel planned features before launch.

The demo

The pay band calculator is provided at no charge for evaluation. It runs on a sample dataset derived from public U.S. BLS Occupational Employment and Wage Statistics with documented adjustments, and it is provided as is, without warranty of any kind. Its output is general market information, not legal, tax, accounting or compensation advice. You are responsible for compensation decisions you make and for compliance with pay-transparency and employment laws that apply to you.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the site: no attempting to breach or probe its security, no scraping at volumes that degrade the service, no signing up email addresses you do not control, no reselling or republishing the demo output as your own benchmark product, and no unlawful use. We may block access that violates these rules.

No. / Terms / 04

Intellectual property

The Wagelist name, site design and software are ours. The underlying BLS wage data is public U.S. government data and remains public; our derived dataset, multipliers and presentation are part of the service. You may share individual bands and posted ranges you generate (for example, in a job posting); that is what they are for.

No. / Terms / 05

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Wagelist is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from use of this pre-launch site or the demo, and our total liability for any claim is limited to $100, reflecting that the site is currently provided without charge.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. We may update these terms as the product approaches launch; the effective date above always reflects the current version. Questions: [email protected]. See also our privacy policy.
